Adrenal Fatigue: Stress Maladaptation Syndrome is a response to a growing epidemic of individuals who believe they have a condition that mainstream medicine has no treatment for. It includes:
- Interviews with health and medical experts around the country
- Real life stories of people who have experienced the symptoms
- Solutions that people with the condition have used to make their lives better
- Information for those who want to know more about the condition
Stephen Weese is a filmmaker with Adrenal Fatigue. He is located in Los Angeles with over 10 years experience in the industry — he produced and wrote the feature film, Altered Spirits, which was released on Amazon Prime.
The primary goals of this documentary are:
1. To help those who believe they have adrenal fatigue through education and awareness
When the doctor tells you there’s nothing wrong with you, what can you do? There’s a lot of alternative medicine out there, but which can you trust? How can you explain to a family member or loved one that yes, there is an actual condition you struggle with?
2. To bring this issue more to the attention of the mainstream medical community
With more recognition, this condition could be better treated — with research, diagnostics, and new treatments, but nothing will be done until doctors recognize it. A similar scenario happened with fibromyalgia years ago; it was not recognized by doctors yet thousands suffered before it was accepted as a true condition.
